Announcement – 01/21/2026
Dear Lifeway family,
As many of you are aware, we are preparing for a significant winter storm that may bring snow, freezing temperatures, black ice, and potentially dangerous travel conditions. After much prayer, discussion, and careful consideration, our church has made the difficult decision to close the church campus for this upcoming weekend. This means all activities at the church will be postponed for another future date or cancelled.
Please know that this decision was not made lightly. We deeply desire to gather together for worship, fellowship, and encouragement, and it is always our joy to meet in person.
We take seriously and to heart what Hebrews 10:24-25 says, “And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, 25 not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.”
However, out of an abundance of caution and with the safety of our church family at heart, we believe this is the wisest course of action at this time.
While we may be physically apart, we remain united in worship. Our team is preparing an online worship service, and we will send out links and details as soon as they are ready so we can worship together from our homes.
In the meantime, we encourage everyone to stay safe, limit travel if possible, and prepare accordingly. Please be sure to stock up on essential items in case of power outages or if leaving your home becomes difficult. Check on each other and continue to extend grace and care to one another during this time.
Thank you for your understanding, your flexibility, and your continued faithfulness. We are grateful for each of you and look forward to gathering together again soon whether online this Sunday or in person again next Sunday.
In Him,
PJ
