College Pastor
Lifeway is looking for an assistant pastor who is responsible for leading, discipling, and walking with the Crossroads Ministry. Additionally, the assistant pastor will enjoy working alongside the rest of the pastoral staff and elders of the church. If you are looking to passionately serve the college students of today, then this may be the role for you.
What is Crossroads?
Crossroads is the name of Lifeway’s college ministry, made up of 100+ college-aged students in the greater Austin area. The majority of Crossroads students attend the University of Texas at Austin, but some of our students attend a variety of local schools as well.
For a long time, Lifeway’s members were primarily college students. They took a proactive approach to leading their own ministry and the church as a whole, making up most of Lifeway’s leaders and pioneering all of the different ministries Lifeway has today. In recent years, Lifeway’s young adult (Bridge) and married (Harvest) ministries have grown more members and leaders to support the college students, but Crossroads is still made up of many incredible students who bring a lot of vibrance, warmth, and heart to our church, and continue to lead the church by their example.
Crossroads students also love to have fun - cooking together in Life Group, staying up late at the library, playing sports, going overseas on mission trips - you won’t get bored with them!
